Wikispaces VS Blogger

This week I have been exploring the differences and similarities between Blogs and Wiki Space. I have created my own Wiki Space which can be located on http://www.wikispaces.com/user/my/mahney

Wikispaces and Blogger have a lot of similarities; both are a handy tool in the classroom and for teachers and hold an educational purpose. These tools allow people to share information, discuss and collaborate with each other about topics. The main differences between a Blog and wiki are the layout, content and what each tool is used to post.  

However from what I understand a blogger is a more personal tool, which allows people to interact with each other about more personal issues such as family, friends, problems and photos.  Blogging tends to resemble a journalistic tool whereas a wiki is typically used a collaborative education tool.
